Maybe you feel vigilant or on edge and aren’t sure why. Trauma often gets stuck in your body and mind and you can feel like you did as a child, powerless and afraid. You may work hard in remind yourself that you are smart enough and good enough, but you don’t yet wholeheartedly believe it. As a Certified EMDR Clinician, I utilize eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence based treatment that helps you to heal from past traumas in a holistic way so that you let go of the trauma in body and mind and integrate feelings of self-worth of well-being.
